'Just Fun'Young girls; their heads are messed up.
Manipulated but you compensated
by getting dressed up.
You stare into the mirror
but you're never good enough?
Layers of cosmetics
but you still look rough?
A slave to fashion, you gave your passion
for a bit of popularity.
Feeling satisfaction?
Empty bottles are reality
releasing your 'insanity'
but you're sobering now
and you know of your fallacy.
Twelve to fifteen, nothing really changed.
Sacrificing femininity, potential down the drain...
As nasty as it sounds, you 'matured' into a wench
and while you carry on, girls like me pretend
that the world will be better in years to come.
But how will that h

blue, white, grey and ironyit's ironic when i realize

used to be the boy who brought
colour
to my life when i lived a life of blues, whites and greys.

who brings me so low that i drowndrowndrown
for hours/days/even weeks, and can't come back up.

is it just my mistakes?
or is there more to this low..?

in that crooked half-grin
on a stranger's face.

in the lyrics of those songs
i listen to.

in the way that friend
swaggers.
or the way he acts.

i adore his personality,
because i see

but you refuse to see me.

ReflectionsThings had never meant to be,
when I closed my eyes to a dream.
Underwater I face the moon,
feeling its caress in this barren abyss.

Figments of hopes and prayers
flitting and fleeting around me,
a school of fish swimming
in glistening silver fragments.

In a future that once was
and a past that could never be,
I felt the ebb and flow
of a faint midday sun with you.

But when my eyes awaken,
it becomes too much to bear.
A drab reality falls in place,
crushing these remnants of possibility.

HeartI am not the monster
that goes bump
in the night.

I am not the monster
that is savage and
destroys the flesh.

I am the monster
burdened with a heart
to rip myself part by part.

I am the monster
that self-destructs
cathartic, beautiful.

I am the monster
with a tongue
knotted in the throat,

by choice.

I am the monster
with faulty restraint,
a smile with shadows.

you claim I am,
ready to destroy you.

You are not
what my existence encompasses,
not my center.

My core is my heart
my gift
my fault.

I am the monster,
the man-made disaster
toxic to itself --

I'm notI'm not innocent, but instead fragmented,
Parts of a soul divided.
One part hopeful, drowned out by the rest,
And gloom fogging the mix.
I'm not calm. I'm voices screaming,
Shouting so loud that they all cancel each other's points.
I'm drawn, and hindered, and straining,
But mostly faded out.
I am two parts of a story told, cut short far before the conclusion.
I am the whisper of a thought begun
but interrupted.

i want a hugwake up
my child
and smile
to this new world that's
coming 'round the corner

the way you speak
speak loudly
and clear
and hold my hands
close your eyes
surprise
it's the sunshine

things seem hard
sometimes
but the problem is
that we never had
the time to fix it
so we procrastinated
and waited
the moon shine

Delusions and IllusionsDelusions and illusions
Are our best friends,
The only things we can retain
When we're left to fend
For others, for ourselves
For the good of all we have
To save ourselves from the abyss
Which will one day drive us mad.

Perception and deception
Are mortal enemies
In the battle for survival
As only one can breed
To keep us safe in our bubbles
In which we've grown to live
So showing one the truth
Is an act one can't forgive.

And in a sense, no innocence
Can stand the test of time
Even though we are immune
For most of our selfish lives
For even though we don't accept it
The truth is always there
So discard, once more,

My $.25Gumballs sliding over unadulterated glass
Passing and chunk chunk
Sound of more weird wisdom
Chewing on marbles lost
It's not the color you want anyway
Chunk chunk on you try
Three, five, seven sugary slipshod
Past an unflappable metal gate
It's not the mind you'd cry to

ElementsIce will freeze the river
Lava will cool the shadows
Ghosts will ride the winds
Storm will duel with thunder

Who will win,nobody knows
There could be a tie, would it matter though?
Each a special element
Insisting to fight
When the dust clears would earth be all right?

Natural elements can turn bad rather quick
Would we make it out safe?
How would this effect the world
All the elements dueling?

Would a winner be found
Or would there be none?
The elements are equally powerful
That much is true
If this fight ever happend
How would it effect you?

Starved For Wheat Starved For Wheat
(A poem for everyone with gluten intolerance)

I must look awful strange, sipping tea and staring at all the cakes and cookies piled high in
Convenience stores and coffee shops.
It's plain to see I'm starved for wheat,
And that I'm silently cursing my tantalizing lot in life.

Because, it's not fair ... that I have to sit and starve on salad,
While watching family and friends feast and feed to their hearts' content,
And amuse myself by dreaming of de

Strongeryou are stronger then this,
i think to myself,
as i lay down my head to sleep,
i close my eyes and think happier thoughts,
and yet somehow the memories get to me,
the tears fall effortlessly down my face,
gently, stealthily sneaking from my eyes,
and transform into crystals,
they shine and sparkle in the light,
and whisk me swiftly off to sleep,
a gentle motherly voice whispers in my ear,
you are stronger then this

I'm your baby girl,
Mommy, don't do this,
So that I can be born,

Mommy, I'm you little angel,
You can't do this to a soul that is mine,
Mommy, I love you,
But you want me to die,

Mommy, I am still a person,
And I want to see the world,
Promise you won't do this,
And I'll be the best I can be,

Mommy, this is murder,
Why won't you love me,
Mommy, please want me,
And never let me go,

Mommy, I hear doctors,

babies are such a gift and when they are torn away it just breaks my heart. My friend just had an unexpected pregnancy and I'm so thankful she decided against abortion.

What if a woman gets raped and winds up pregnant? What if she can't support a child? What if the child would live the beginning of its life and possibly everything afterward in complete and utter misery? What if it would be physically dangerous to the mother to give birth? What if it turns out the child is deformed in utero, and would spend its life in agony, never moving from an iron lung? Wouldn't it be better to abort the pregnancy than to risk the mother's life for a child who will wish for death?
Basically, I think that abortion should be considered only when really necessary. I'm... pro-choice, kind of. I just hate the idea of abortion being an alternative to contraceptives...

Well, I am just showing wat the baby would be saying if he/she knew what was going on. If it was to save the mother or the baby, then go ahead. But, a lot of women live with the guilt in the future. I've seen it happen. I am sorry if I affended you.

Oh, well, idk. i guess it just depends on the situation. If the baby is healthy and the mother is 2, then she can give the baby to a loving home that can take care of it. that way in the future, she feels no guilt and knows that her baby is in good hands. That's wat I meant. I is sowwy.
